Vivek Kumar (Vik) is the founder of Sakshum.

"I opened my eyes in a big joint-family, in a small town called Bhiwani (Haryana). Here, I learned the very first lesson of my life i.e. respecting individuals who were other than my parents but connected to me equally or sometimes better.

I never thought that one day I will be a part of a great NGO like Sakshum. I always wish to help people who are in need for genuine reasons. I beleive I will be able to do justice to my responsibilities and will be able to put best out of me to serve humanity."

Dr Neeti Sharma(B.P.T, PGDEI- gold medalist), is the co-founder of Sakshum.

"I remember the time when I was a kid. I used to feel very happy when I would get an opportunity to help a blind man to cross the road. I used to stand on bus stand where on the other side of road there was a school for blind. That time I never thought beyond that help. Time passed and that small help although hidden but one day ignited and made me to reach NIMH (National Institute For the Mentally Handicap). Thanks God for providing me the opportunity to serve people with disability in a better and effective way.

As per my experience, I believe that it is not one or two hands job. We all have to be united, to hold each others hands. Then only, this small effort will make a big impact on the society, nation and to the mankind...........
